**MEDIA ADVISORY** TEXAS RANGERS BASEBALL FOUNDATION TO ANNOUNCE MAJOR NEW INITIATIVE TO HONOR CHARLEY PRIDE ON THURSDAY, MARCH 18 AT 11:00 A.M. CT

Arlington, Texas—The Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation will announce a major new initiative to honor Charley Pride on a Media Zoom Conference, TOMORROW, THURSDAY, MARCH 18 at 11:00 a.m. CDT.

The Country Music legend, who had a strong connection to the Texas Rangers organization for nearly 50 years, passed away on December 12, 2020 at the age of 86. March 18 would have been Mr. Pride’s 87th birthday.

Officials of the Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation will be joined on the media zoom call by Mr. Pride’s wife, Rozene Pride; longtime friends and Country Music stars Garth Brooks, Larry Gatlin, and Neal McCoy, and Dallas businessman Roland Parrish, whose Parrish Charitable Foundation is partnering with the Rangers Foundation on this initiative.
